Work it girl!

Haha, this title makes me laugh (in my brain). So here's the story, I was working on modeling Delila's face about two nights ago and was almost finished when Maya suddenly crashed on me! Like a dodo head, I didn't save. Oi! I was sleep deprived with nothing to show. Here I show you the new progress on Delila. Her body was modeled by Charles Carver and I am eternally grateful for his help, any contribution is great.

It's a Boy!

Well. . .the male mouse is complete. I'm sure minor adjustments will be made, but for now he is complete.

Now he needs to be rigged (given a skeleton). That should prove to be a challenge, but what's life without some obstacles, oh yes. . .good. sigh.

I have begun modeling the face. . .and it looks like monkey poo right now. It'll look pretty soon, I promise.

So the long nights have already begun. . .Blogger lies, the time is actually 4:05 AM as I post this. Here are some updated images of my male mouse's body. We have our first animation meeting tomorrow. Fun stuff.

Yeah, I'm a model-er

I've begun modeling the male mouse's body. Mario Afu is (hopefully) going to model the heads for both the male and female mice. Charles Carver will be modeling the female’s body. A little crazy, but necessary. Here are some screenshots of early modeling.

Here we have the two main characters. The girl's name is Delila (She's Scottish), and the male mouse's name slips my mind at the moment (but he's Cuban for now).

First Post! Wooo Hooo!!

Hi Everyone,

This blog was created to showcase the progress of a currently untitled animated short film to be completed by the end of the Fall 2007 semester at UCF. Will it be difficult? Yes. Time consuming? Yes. Worth it? It better be or I might have to punch someone in the throat. Please be patient as I figure out this whole "blogging" thing. I hope to have the storyboard up soon. Until then, pray for my sanity.
